Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Chainring clearance on a PK ripper

Anyone know the chainring clearance on a PK ripper, or if it even has any issues? This is the 700c version of course. I tried to do a search and didn't find anything.

EDIT: 2011 PK Ripper frame

Your gear ratio won't matter much once your frame breaks in half.

i guess nobody else's bikes break?

but back to the question...
the 2009 came with a 46t ring & 48t would fit. have they actually changed the chainstays on new frame? one really good thing about advanced sports is that consumers can call them, they will answer the phone & answer questions.

Why are you comparing apples to oranges? Leader ≠ SE

well...
the minute someone brings up a pk ripper that same ol pic is instantly regurgitated.
yet other brands that have had even more problems along the way seem to get a pass here for some reason.
seemed appropriate to me...sorry if it upsets you
