Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

The seatpost thing is really interesting. The tube is so low profile that it looks like an integrated seat mast...for steel.

Also, the bolt goes through the top of the seatstays? funky.

At any rate, Rapha sure knows how to dress up a bike.

I need to find a company/frame I don't like and spend all my free time in its appreciation thread.

To be clear, I wasn't trashing on the Rapha XCR. I truly love that bike.

your frame was painstakingly designed by the founder of cinelli and romantically assembled by a jovial and chubby italian named giuseppe.

Pretty sure those aren't athletics. Perhaps cutoffs. you can see where the hem is folded. Also, pockets.
