Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Awesome looking bike.

The big Cinelli typologo looks much much better, compare to the 2012 version with the small C logo

Jandro - are those Angie's old Deep Vs (or did we sell those to Jaytron)?

Speaking of Angie, here's her Vig:

Negative, Ghostrider. Got these from... uh, some random online dealer that had the cheapest price, haha. I don't even remember.

Tell Angie she has good taste

Also, I may be ordering some DA 7600 hubs from you. Stay tuned

Greetings all,

I've been lruking these forums a while now, mostly learning about singlespeed and fixed gear bikes. Last year I decided that I needed a bike I could carry up tp my apartment after yet another bike got stolen outside. Partly to blame there because of my choise of locks but on the bright side it led me to buy a Giant Bowery 2011 that my LBS had a nice deal on. Rode it as a singlespeed and lately as a fixed gear bike.

A few months ago there was an ad for the red Gazzetta frame and I fel in love with the looks of it. Hesitated a bit though because of the more track like geometry compared to my Giant but finally decided to buy the frame and go from there. Spent 2 months ordering parts and learning how to fit everything. And today finally it's street worthy.

2013 histogram>2014

Is the 2014 cheaper at least even after MASH markup?

I highly doubt it. Cinelli just raised their MSRP on frames again...

Ouch... I would still rather have that *actual* limited edition histogram though.

agreed, the black down around the bb area will get lost when its got a crank on, black fork would balance it out

I think it was Garret's first exploration in the chrome finishing.

Saw three of these at the Red Hook Crit. Really hated them at first, but they started to grow on me.
