Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Stranahans Colorado Whiskey, easily the best whiskey ever made. Worth the expensive price but SOOOO Delicious.

Just uncorked a bottle of Dalmore 12 year old highland scotch here... there are touches of sherry and citrus here and it rolls along from being sweet to bitter and back again to sweet with a little spiciness.

Was a little tip from a pleased customer.

I love pastis, very refreshing drink in the summer, but it is too strong for me to drink straight. I like it with water or with lemonade. Ricard is among the best, but Pernod or 51 are also good. Your clients have good taste. Cheers

Speaking of tips from pleased customers, today I dropped my bike off at the shop to get the spoke tension checked, and left a bottle of this, for similar reasons as your customer:

I'm going to have to call shenanigans on that. There simply is no such thing as "easily the best whiskey ever made." Different whiskies are required for different events. If I had to limit myself to just one, my liquor cabinet would be a sad, lonely place.

Last time I drank 4loko I ended up doing some pretty profane things with a girl I didn't really like, in her friend's bed, while her friend was sleeping there. Mostly sticking to regular beer these days.

Ranger IPA.

My friends call that "magic" as in...last night magic happened...as in, I was way to drunk to know what the hell was going on so it must have been magic.

Pastis is what they invented when they decided they missed absinthe. Now you can get it again.

It also is supposed to go in five parts icewater but with a little sugar to bring out the flavor of the herbs.

It is distilled with fennel and wormwood in addition to anise. This brand has a bunch of other herbs. It's highly rated.

It's important to get a highly rated one. Some makers are just cashing in on the drink's notoriety.

Some brands have a distinct note of mulch to them. Maybe they don't use very fresh herbs.

Coffee... anything else would not mix well with the painkillers.

On the other hand, with painkillers like these alcohol would be like throwing bricks into the Grand Canyon.
