Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Have any recommendations for a new drive train for my MTB commuter (Shimano Altus)?

(This isn't a question but I thought it was awesome so I wanted to share.)

I had this dream that I lived in Beverly and rode over to your shop. When I got there you asked if I was Adrian from BF and then you pressed a button under a counter and a wall opened up. Behind it there was a Party/BBQ and all the BFSSFG bros were there. You handed me a plate with a bunch of Chorizo and grilled peppers on it. Sadly I woke up before I got to eat :/

I have no idea. Didn't Dannihilator rig a bell to a brake lever?

No way, it's a cheapo and has a few blemishes. It was no more than a hundred bucks from a discount rug place.
