What's wrong with this?

Clamping a brake to a carbon fork isn't something I'd ever do or advise.

The Soma fork is made of Tange Infinity tubing.

I've never seen one.

its a little out of my budget at the moment, and I guess I wont be clamping anything either.

Building up a Pake c'mute, and i'm trying to install a Sram S300 Crankset (thanks for sending it out so fast Scrod). The problem i'm running into is the Chainring is rubbing on Frame. Never had this problem with this crankset. on other installs. Fram is a 68mm BB shell.

I know not to put any spacers on a GXP BB.

Any Ideas?

Can i move the Chainring to the outside of the spindle?

what is the difference/or is there much difference between the Cinelli Vai Palm Compact (no longer made) and the Cinelli Mash Drop Compact? From pics I've seen it looks like the tops of the Palm are flater, but the Mash is somewhat flat as well.

The Vai Palm bars were extremely flat on the tops (like an airplane wing), where the Mash drops are more oval.

Sram really needs to get their **** together when it comes to their cranks. Their service/warranty dept leaves a lot to be desired too but I won't even get into that here.

The funny thing in this instance is that I know someone who rides a C'mute frame and is using S300s without any trouble. Using a spacer on the drive side isn't usually something I would recommend but if you can install the crank using one without needing to over-tighten the NDS arm to get it to seat properly on the spindle (and crush the bearing in the process), give it a whirl.

What are you even talking about?

Would it be possible to drill a brake hole in the Alpina fork? since it has an aluminium steerer. I've seen people online do it, but I'd rather ask you for clarification before I end up killing myself because I chose to do something stupid.


I also really like how the alpina looks on the 725 as compared to any other fork.

Man, looks like I'll be investing in a new fork in the near future. Anyone have a recommendation on a fork that's a similar size to the alpina? I like the smaller look of it compared to the Leader forks.

They're not on our site but my shop sells unbranded Cinelli/Columbus carbon forks (exactly like those included with the Vigorelli/MASH framesets) that are drilled and plugged in front.

That looks like a nice fork, does it come in a glossy finish or just matte?

Also how much is it? This may be the answer I'm looking for.
