So we had a good 30 mile jaunt around SF today. We headed out from South Park (start of Bay City Relay Cup) to the Wave Organ, then from there to Lake Merced. From there we headed to Heron's Head which is surronded by a unique medley of industrial smells. We finished the ride at Zeitgeist with a burgers, fries, beer, and bloody marys.
There weren't too many bad hills except Divisadero where we had to walk up the last block, except Tom who ran up it Cyclocross style (you go Tom). Of course for me, this ride was on top of a Cyclocross race I did 30 minutes earlier in the same morning.
I guess having the gear cross bike was good for me since I was pooped afterward.
