Thinking of Building a Cinelli MASH Aluminum Size 48

Hello every one!

Since I am on the mits of building a new bike I wanted to get the communities thoughts on my prospected project.

Essentially, I am looking to build a Cinelli MASH Aluminum frame (brushed aluminum silver finish) to use as a daily and maybe track it with a more aggressive gear ratio and stem etc.

At any rate, any one have any experience with these frames? Any similar alternatives people can suggest? I am a short dude so frames that come in either a 49cm or 48cm, 51cm if they run small.

Trying to stay away form carbon as my road bike is carbon. Also not too found of steel since my last bike was steel and I never really took a great liking to it.

Look forward to reading everyones comments!

Cheers

Richard

Judging by the the comments on here, I would venture to guess that I have stumbled upon the holy grail of ******ry. Since no one will address my question which was, essentially, peoples thoughts on the frame and possible alternatives I will reframe from addressing this post further. Honestly what the ****?

Unless of course everything that came before this simple prose was an attempt at the question, in which case I regret joining this thread.

The majority of these comments seem completely out of context or encoded in some sort of ******* suto-bohemian jargon. I say if you have something to say, do the rest of the cycling community a favor and say it plainly.

As for my location? Should that really be the genesis of such spite? Simply judging by some of the commenters locations, and I know I subject myself to criticism when I say this, Santa Rosa sounds more to me like a ****ing godsend. Vallejo? Honestly I wouldn't take a **** in that town(city or what ever you call such rot) without feeling defiled or otherwise unclean. Having lived there for some time, earlier in my youth, I can attest to its utter... gloom.

Perhaps I should have noted, much earlier indeed, that I have been to the Mash store and checked out the frame. (to the gentlemen that suggested it, thank you I appreciate your grace and simplicity) Needless to say I liked it enough to ponder a build. Why anyone would have such ill feeling for such a simple question of opinion, again is beyond me.

I bid the lot of douchness that saturates this thread, currently, a good night.

This thread delivers!

On a serious note, these kinds threads are getting quite predictable.

1. New member opens thread about SS/FG socially unacceptable/ redundant topic/ item/ question
2. An older member spots thread and posts irrelevent comment
3. More older members join in for an open season on OP; chucking in randomness and funny pictures
4. OP discovers the carcass of their thread and get's angry
5. OP responds with derogatory post in fit of rage.
6. Older members return to see end result for pleasure.

Sounds about right.

Hey bro. I helped. There was a size question, I posted a sizing calculator with geometry for the Mash frame.

... Also, I tried a Carne Asada bake from Costco today. Nowhere near as good as the Chicken Bake.

If what you say is true, and these thread are predictable then that speaks lengths about the community of SS/FG. Although I was hardly offended, more so confused. I guess shooting people down is just part of this communities right of passage, or how it maintains a purist reputation for dou-chery. What is the point of alienating people, on the premise of silly or socially unacceptable comments? Why not simply ignore it?

What an interesting subculture.(if you can call it that)
