Headset help

Hey guys, I'm just getting around to ordering a headset for my new build and I'm not exactly sure which one to order. I'm sure it would just take one of you 2 seconds to look at the frame/fork specs to tell me. Much appreciated!

Here is the frame/fork I have: https://www.cinelli.it/scripts/prodot...=EN&IdBici=554

I was gonna buy a Cane Creek 110 but I'm not sure which exact one I need to fit. Thanks again for the help!

Any 1 1/8" external threadless headset will work.

Why 110? Why not go for a King?

Posting in the "Mechanics" forum might be a good idea as well.

In the end, either would be more than good enough for me. I had done some reading though and found that there were some design flaws with the o ring in the Chris King due to design patents held by Cane Creek for the threadless headset which they invented. Because of the design workarounds Chris King was forced to use, the o-ring between the top plate and the steerer tube is insufficient for keeping the top plate centered which leads to fretting on the steerer tube and presumably the top plate.

All other things being equal, I think I'd rather go with the Cane Creek unless there is something I'm missing. The quality seems to be every bit as good as the King and it has a 110 year warranty if something does go wrong.

As for any 1 1/8 external threadless headset, I'm assuming this one will do fine? It's what I was originally going to buy until I started doubting whether it was the right fit. https://www.canecreek.com/component-h....EC34#110.EC34

That's true, they are both top quality headsets and you can't really go wrong with either one. Yes, that one is the one you need.

What components are you planning to put on that Gazzetta?

In my experience, with proper maintenance, any headset will work just fine. Im a fan of the FSA PIG headsets though.
