Can't Remove Shoe From Pedal!
I have a pair of the Chrome Kursk Pro shoes (from the Chrome 50% off sale) and some cheap Shimano PD-M520 pedals. On my way home from work today I tried to unclip my right foot at a train crossing and it would twist but not unclip. When I got home I had to untie my shoe and slide out of it to get my foot off of the bike. It looks like one of the bolts that holds the cleat to the shoe somehow went missing during the day. If I try to unlcip the shoe it just spins around the remaining bolt . Any suggestions as to how to get the shoe off of the pedal? I can't see any way to get to the remaining bolt to unscrew it from the shoe and it doesn't want to let go of the pedal. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated

What happens if you keep turning the shoe, while gently pulling it away from the pedal? (This is assuming that you've already removed the shoe and pedal from the bike.)

You need to find a way to apply torque yourself, the same kind of torque that your rotating foot would make. So, the screwdriver thing that Chad said or pliers or something.

Probably best to melt the pedal off of the shoe with thermite.
But, if you don't have thermite onhand, I would recommend try using leverage to pop it out.

I've got those pedals and it seems to me like you might be able to stick a screwdriver with a hex bit thru the bottom and remove the remaining cleat screw. Either that or twist the shoe enough to expose the tension adjustment screw and loosen it all the way.

Thanks everyone!
I got the shoe off with the screw driver from underneath. I have no idea where the other bolt went but I guess I'll make a trip to the LBS tomorrow to pick up a new one.
