Bars similar to Mash Bullhorns

Wondering if there are any similar bars to the Cinelli Mash Bullhorns that are either cheaper, or at least not as hip/flashy.

Basically just looking for a set of bullhorns that have a nice flat spot on them.

Those are much more reasonable. Thanks.

Next question, is it generally acceptable to wrap the flat section or to leave it bare and just wrap the horns?

These bars are intended as base bars for clip on aero bars, so the flat part is not usually wrapped.

However, if you're not using them for that purpose you can do as you please. Most people I've seen using the MASH bullhorn don't wrap the flat part, but it is pretty well textured for grip. It's not discouraged to wrap the whole damn thing if you feel like it though. Try both ways and see how you like it. If you happened to like it better unwrapped, nice--one package of bar tape is good for 4 uses

Interesting. I'm just not sure how the tape would stick on the flat part, or if it'd even look right. Good thought on how many uses I'd get out of a pack of bar tape, plenty to experiment with. Thanks!

I have the Vision basebars at the top there and they are quite comfy. I definitely don't regret the purchase.

get the ones you want, even if they'll cost you $25 more.
plus the cinelli will hold their value for a long time, imo.

Me too, but the graphics are really ugly and painted on. They sand off pretty well and you can tape over them obviously.
