Anyways, more pics. This is about as far as I can go at this time. Also, I made a mistake and won't be able to use the Dirty Harry brake lever I got from RG, because the Nitto riser bars are 24mm at the grips, instead of the 22.2mm I was expecting. The weld joint between the seatstay and dropout is a disappointment with a big blob of weld instead of the smooth filed finish of my old Rush. Seems like the finishing details on the new Rush are not as nice as the old ones. The chrome plate is well done, however.

Well, finally the sun came out and I had a chance to ride this beauty. The only adjustment that was needed was to tilt the nose of the Brooks saddle up a bit more. I almost dumped it making a u-turn when I forgot that a fat front tire plus toe clips means a lot more toe overlap. The mid 60s gearing is perfect for this more casual setup.

Sweet build Tejano. I mocked up a very similar component list when I first saw the new 2014 Rush frame for a future build, hopefully once I start making some extra money I can put it together.
But your 1st pic demonstrates one of the reasons why I never liked Brooks saddles all that much. I am sorry but I find the nose pointed at the sky like that unattractive. I understand that may be how one needs to set a Brooks for comfort, but to me it is simply the reverse of guys pointing their saddles down for their comfort and they get mocked.
Why is one kind of odd saddle angle OK, while another is fodder for riducule?
BTW...how long you planning to keep that black brake lever ;)
