Detailed pics of 2012 Specialized Langster?

Does anyone have the newest Langster that they can show me more detailed pics of?Id like pics of the hubs,BB shell on non drive side front and rear shots and also tire clearance if possible,Also the bike is advertised as coming with brakes,so Id like a shot of those too. The Specialized site only has a drive side picthat isnt very helpful.Since my Kilo was jacked from me a few weeks back Ive been looking for a new ride and this looks good.

Also,Id like any pros and cons to this bike if you have any.

Here is a link to the bike....

https://www.specialized.com/us/en/bc/...01&scname=Road

Thanks guys.

probably on the handlebars...

you've never seen brakes on a bike before? i don't understand exactly what you mean by "how they mount the levers." do you mean what kind of lever they use? i am positive that based on prior models and that their description says "tektro ergo" that they use a road lever like this https://www.bikeman.com/BR7213.html do you mean where they put the lever on the bar? you can adjust that. if you can't, the LBS you are buying this bike from happily will.

That's a track bar with track grips. Makes no sense to me to put hooded levers on it. At best, cross levers near the stem, but even that will look goofy. That looks like a brakeless track racer to me. Also, that thing looks ugly to me, and kinda reminds me of this:

This bike confuses me. I have an '09 langster, and it was a single speed road bike. That's what I liked about it - it had road bars, front and rear brakes (with proper cable guides on the top tube for the rear brake) and was intended to be ridden on the road. I can commute on it, train on it, and not take it to the track.

The bike in the picture has (somewhat?) track geometry and track bars, cable guides on the top tube (you can seem them if you zoom in) but no brakes. The technical specifications list the track bars, so the picture isn't mistaken, but they also list the brakes (and those levers Google as regular road levers).

Either it has road levers on track bars, which would annoy the hell out of me and be borderline unusable, or levers near the stem, which would also annoy the hell out of me. Take the brakes off and you would have the cable guides on the frame ruin the look. Mostly this is just repeating what TT said, but I like the sound of my own internal voice.

Schizophrenic. I want to see pictures too.

I like it so far,but I would like to know if the levers are mounted on the bars, with full tape or track grips,or if they come extra and unmounted.

The few pics Ive seen have either bare bars, track grips,or fully taped bars.I have yet to see the levers mounted.

Aside from being a Lexi Belle fan, I really think you will enjoy the smooth ride on the Langster. I own a 09 langster but I think the 2012's have a slightly more aggressive geometry than previous models.

Specialized probably noticed all of these at local 'dromes and thought: "we should make that."

Wow, it's not ugly.

I found some "Show your Langter" thread here or somewhere else, looked at one page of pictures, and about puked my brains out. TERRIBLE LOOKING BIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AWFUL!! I vowed never to look at a Langster again.

Today I clicked this thread and was pleasantly surprised. Looks good.

And yeah, it's the ridiculous sloping top tubes in the other models that got my goat.
