650c up front
No, I don't want to do barsp1nz, my fork and front wheel were recently destroyed and I was wondering if anyone who had switched their front wheel out for a smaller(650) wheel up front would want to chime in with any ups and downs of this

I've run 26" up front, 700c in back. Makes HTA and STA steeper and BB lower.
How well it works will depend on how steep your bike's stock angles are and how much steeper you like them.
If you're good with Trig you can calculate what the new angles will be on paper.
EDIT: Oh, yeah, I have Mega long reach calipers to run 26 on that bike. You'll need so slide your brake pads down about 25mm to reach your new rims. Probably gonna have to shop for long reach brake if you really wanna do this.
I should also add you can run a fatter tire on the front to minimize the steepening and BB lowering effects. Seems like a silly way of going about things unless you get a 650c wheel for free, however.

If you're not doing barspins there aren't really any practical benefits to putting a 650c wheel on a frame that wasn't designed for it. There are a number of frames built to have staggered wheels like that but they have amply high bottom brackets. I think theoretically on the bikes designed for a 650 up front there are aerodynamic and weight advantages. Those benefits would be outweighed on a frame that's not meant for it. IIRC, they don't allow 2 different wheel sizes in racing anymore anyway.

The major issue with it though is it will f**k up the trail of your bike
it'll handle obnoxiously twitchy, and will discourage you from riding fast.
that being said, ive had a bike with a 650c front, and didn't mind it by any means for my around town beating, and it made my bikes angles a bit more attractive.
