Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

OK, this is some crazy ****. Put the world's smallest velo track in a bar, add caffiene, alcohol and fixies and it is as described in the opening statement!

Have you guys heard of this sweet new fixed gear team called Macaframa? They bomb hills and make it look cool and stuff. Also sometimes they take their feet out of their clips and use their shoe to brake, so radical.

Also there are these people doing tricks on fixed gears. FGFS or something. It's the next best thing, man I am so excited to be part of a new culture/read prolly.

I looked up some pictures but they look like a whole bunch of dumb jocks. Turned on their fixie culture for CX.

Did, at any point in that video, the camera stay on a subject long enough to see one complete lap on the track? I felt like I was watching a video that my 4 year old made after eating a pound of sugar.
