Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Sorry the picture is so small.
I really love this Leader Eqnx build, though the HED wheel is wasted on me.
Maybe a project for next winter.

most of the time i come in this thread I end up gagging. this should be renamed "hideous bikes that are expensive or old so we have to pretend to like them v2.0"

let's have a new rule that if you think a bike is not worthy of this thread then you should propose one that is (within the same style of the one you disagree with).

both of the SSCX bikes are excellent.

That's kind of what I was thinking with the Bishop. I don't like the Walker because of the crankset and wheels. To my eye the Bishop is more coherent. (though I'd go with polished box-section rims with more spokes and matching hubs)

I love everything about the Bishop but the wheels. They are funky, for sure. I also don't know if I'd use low-spoke count paired spoke wheels in a CX race. Yikes! Just asking for something to get caught in there.

However, the cloverleaf tubing makes up for most vices.
