Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? At that point, why not just tig weld it? Any specific reason to braze it instead? Bike does look badass though.

I know that bike! Ridden by Jack Lindquist who's an LA local and the frame was built by his girlfriend Megan Dean who's an excellent frame builder. her company is Moth Attack but she has a special partnership with Ritte Van Vlaanderen, a bike company based out of Santa Monica. Also that's not surface rust its just an unpolished metal surface. It's a unique frame in that it is all fillet brazed. For those that don't know Jack you'll probably recognize the his piston tattoos on his calves. And here's Megan's latest build

For those wondering about the straps he rides them with a clipless setup.

And a few more of Megan's builds

Well, I find it less funny that they actually ended up toning the following previous model year down; it's pretty meh now.
To me it's just a sticker anyhow that just happens to reads PINA.c01a6a on my bike....
