Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? I'm with you about the blue fenders, I like them. It's the carbon fork I can't get over. Keep in mind that this bike was probably ordered in 2005 so the new owner probably forgot what they ordered.

The next frame I build will probably be modeled after that SS CX bike. I love everything about that bike.

Transition's version is really nicely done but it wasn't very original:

I normally like Vanilla bikes, but that thing is all kinds of ugly

what's up with the brake lever position?
canti brakes? Why not disc?
rear fender is stupid short
black headset? why?
the whole pastel "colourwai" with custom bikes trend just needs to go away
integrated seatpost (seatmast?) and slammed stem on a townie?
nice chainguard there, looks real useful
god that fork...
no racks? no integrated lighting? no thanks
not sure what hubs those are, but the solid high flanges looks cheap & ugly
what's up with the uneven paint on the drive side seat & chainstays vs. nds?
needs bar-end plugs
wrong saddle choice for a townie, same with the cranks/bb

scrap the whole thing sans the Hetres and start over lol
