Since they sent me to the night game armed with a 300/2.8 & their demands for "plenty of action shots!".
Not heard of the Brenizer deal before....interesting read.
In the catalogue studio, way back when, we shot more large format color than B&W. Chromes, mostly E4. Nothing like an 11x14 transparency.
Is it just me, or is that photographer's Fuji smokin'?

I actually saw an early 90's MTB with the exact same team panasonic colorway. So rad.
Good news is it's only a $45 option nowadays when ordering a custom panasonic NJS frameset.

I mean they're a little tall but the way they create such a perfect, continuous bullhorn on top looks so so good.
