Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I had no idea this was possible. Maybe you should repost this in the mechanics sub-forum just in case they are unaware too.

Oh man, I think my sarcasm may have broken your meter... I've been converting ****ty mountain bikes and old Schwinns for about fifteen years. I have never ridden a bike with more than one speed for more than a day. The only difference is that I just took off the shifting mechanisms and shortened the chain. This dude is taking it too far.
