Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

i was testing its durability, and it passed.

took the stick out and pulled it back around the wheel and it went right back into shape.

the pic in the geared bike thread is after it happened twice, this weekend i also had to ted shred onto it and it made a hole

fenders still good, planet bikes description of "indestructable" is living up to its name

I'm pretty sure my SKS Race blades would not survive such treatment. That's a pretty durable fender.

If I was not able to build my own I'd buy a Bike Friday... they are a well thought out machine and capable performers.
