That's what it looks like now, post Irene cleanup. House on the left is where I live.

This was taken while Irene was still blowing around here....

Who's yeti? I've been seeing it everywhere.

yummygooey 01-21-12 05:38 PM

My buddy's. He's a member (evenes) but doesn't post much.

dddavid 01-21-12 06:18 PM

It's like bizarro world. Snow covered roads but not a flake anywhere else. Looks like fun!

PlattsVegas 01-21-12 06:23 PM

I would kill a man for that Yeti.

Haha we couldn't get the bikes to stay up cuz icy snow plus slicks equals slip and slide.

Thanks dude! It's an XACD Ti frame that I bought from the BF classifieds.

looks like this thread should be moved to a derailler bike sub-forum...

yummygooey 01-22-12 09:58 AM

Weather has been too crappy for me to take the TET out. :(

Can't wait for some spring!

This forum is kinda it's own separate community away from the others. Although yes, it technically should be in the road sub forum, yummy and others wanted to share them with us, the people who visit this forum.

The 41 isn't as fun as this forum. People here have what I would like to call 'personality'. ;)

+1.1

I browse the 41 but everyone there is so stuck up it isn't even funny - I just want to punch them.

It's just really boring, to be honest. I can only read so many threads on "this lightweight wheel or THIS lightweight wheel - omgican'tmakeadecisiononmyown", To shave or not to shave my legs?, Di2 or Ui2?, omg why no football team kits?, blah blah blah.

80+ miles is hardcore. Which saddle were you riding? I've done centuries on my slr and it kills me around the 80 mile mark

jdgesus 01-29-12 02:24 PM

fizik arione... back in love with it

first 60miles sucked for some reason... had a 30min rest at my dads, eat some food, then i kept a huge pace the rest of the way home... i felt amazing

yummygooey 01-29-12 02:39 PM

I rode my SLR yesterday and I wanted to cry. Hatchet.

took the San Gabriel River bike trail to the Coyote Creek Bikeway and into Fullerton, and mashed around with some mountain bikers on the Fullerton Loop.
