Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Dixie, I love your bike, it's clean and set up sensibly - but I just can't get past that damn downtube logo. I keep thinking I need 3D glasses or something.

up gridley, across the ridge, down into rose valley, and then took asphalt all the way back home. almost 4000' of elevation in less than 30 miles.

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-1_p8CtT-r7...1600/photo.JPG was taken at the beach the other week.

I took this one - http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-NPgO9myOuJ...00/sunrise.jpg - yesterday morning on a dawn patrol ride on the same fixed-gear Gitane.

I've got other, older ride pix at Internal Detours
