I like choo-choo trains...
for chains.. I use the cheapo KMC chins that the LBS has for $10. Durable, and Cheep! available in diffferent models in both 3/32 and 1/8. I use 3/32. I don't know what model that I have, although it works well.

No sleep till Brooklyn!
Ooh. I think I need to listen to that right now.
(on topic: I have a KMC Z510HX that's nice and supposedly KMC's top of the line BMX chain with special high strength pins, sideplates, blah blah blah. I have a different corrosion-resistant KMC as well of unknown make. Both work fine, the cheapo one is maybe a little noisy. I measured last night and neither has stretched even a bit, including the older one which has a lot of mileage on it.)

OK, I'll stop bigging up my hometown and allow the serious discussion of chains.

I just started rocking the KMC Kool BMX/Track chain. I'm liking it. It feels pretty tough. It was ~ $14.

You've been great with add vice fokes, tanks. I like the look of KFC chain, but with boat oil?
Being new to `SS will moi have to lube the train with special seasoning as the one i have is for winter mtb, has compounds (so it doesn't collect dirt from offa the beaten track) - seems dry as a bone although it works..app. Just plain ol' oil from the Gerry's tractor can is it for asphalt rodeo and perhaps less often a?

I run my chains dry. They're nickel plated so they don't rust, apart from that it's just a little bit of lube to quiet the one down when it's being noisy.
