Even back when I was 8 I knew those were stupid and wouldn't be caught dead wearing them.

...

The concept is still amazing though

My brother used to have a pair, he wore them for like a month and then never again. Money well spent!

was just informed my dzrs out of stock (emailed to ask for a tracking # to find this out :\). I need some spd compatible shoes now to replace them, something that looks as sexy would be as preferable. I don't want an all black shoe, turned down the midnights

Picked up a pair of Addidas Sambas on clearance at the Academy here. $23 a pair. Going to give them a try. Out of the box they felt a bit narrow, but that's normal for me.

Hit up eBay dude. <$100 for lightly used. I would rather have Sidis at that price than Mavics cuz more street cred.

I picked up a pair of Manchesters at my local Journeys for $21.16 on clearance. These shoes replaced my Globes and I gotta say, initial opinion is they're pretty nice on the feet and they work well with my pedals.

Mine were the same way, but they stretch out side-to-side pretty quickly. Try to get them wet in the first few days, and make sure to wear them until they're dry. Makes them the most comfortable.

my DZRs came in. question: how do I go about removing the rubber that hides the cleat? I don't want to force it out improperly and mess something up.

yeah, it took me forever and a while to figure it out but just keep going and cut around the edges of the cleat area
