Iro Phoenix SS Frameset (rear rack?)

Does this frame have rear rack mounts in the frame, or are they external like cable guides? The picture looks like they are tacked on to the frame. The rear rack mounts look like they could be ripped off. Please tell me more about this.

it has both rear rack mounts and rear cable guides. the cable guides follow the dt to the rear driveside chainstay and are presumably for an igh.

the rear rack mounts are eyelets above the dropouts and there's a separate set of eyelets for fenders. nothing is going to 'rip off' on this frame unless you take a hammer and chisel to it.

Wow ! That's a great price. Should be posted in the great deal and sale thread.

All the braze-ons are plenty sturdy. If you're putting enough weight on a rack to worry about tearing off the mounts, you should be more worried about crushing the wheel. I own a Phoenix, and it's built like a tank.
