Wheel Tensioners.

Question: do any of you use those fork-end wheel tensioners? You know, the ones you tighten with an allen key? If so, what do you think?

Also, is it possible to use them on a road conversion fixie?

Thanks.

I use Kirin bike tensioners on my Bianchi Pista. Highly recommend them. I was reluctant to add anything to the bike. I'd prefer to pull stuff off, but someone gave them to me and I tried them. They eliminate the need for a third hand when you are trying to tension the chain. I was able to dial in the sweet spot and center the wheel at the same time. Seemed like before, it was always too tight or too slack.
Don't know if they'd work on your bike, but I don't believe these would work on forward-opening semi-horizontal roadie fork ends.
