Non-Machined Kinlin group buy

Hey, I know Scrod already tried multiple times to get a group buy for this, and to no avail. I was wondering if anyone wanted to contribute into a group buy? Serious people only please.

EDIT: And if we can't get enough people, I can solicit from the road forum

Need more info. Non-machined but which rims are available? The brake tracks will still be parallel on the rim and a visible change from the rest of the rim's profile, yes? Price? Different drillings available?

Potentially interested, depending on the details.

Same. Kinlins aren't that expensive and I like the idea of group buy to get a "limited run".

Why are you restarting the KinLin group buy that was originally started by me, would need to be carried out by me, that I called off because people were dragging ass and there wasn't enough interest to meet the minimum?

Unless you have a supplier and plan on doing all the work, you have no real right to start a thread like this without asking me first.

Also - why would the road forum be interested in non-machined rims?

I nearly asked the same questions Scrod asked but I then thought "no way he doesn't have a supplier himself if he started this thread" -- especially since you followed up that you wouldn't be trying to do it a second time

Machined sidewalls are a recent fashion. People rode for decades on rims with non-machined sidewalls. I have 12 bikes here, none have rims with machined sidewalls.

Maybe try C&V instead of Road?

Kinlin. I am guessing that Non-machined would be like acoustic versions or something...
