Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

First time I used the GoPro Out Front combo mount. Probably the last time as well. Looks like I'm riding a jackhammer it vibrates so bad at times.

This was last year in Chicago after Critical Mass - night riding starts at :32. Friend of mine was recording on his Sony cam and got us riding down Lake Shore Dr. and then the 10 bike cop escort that we met up with to get us back downtown. Obviously these are out of order but that is how he edited it.

I grew up on LI but as the song says...

The boys are thirsty in Atlanta
And there's beer in Texarkana

Those are roads in Cobb and Paulding Counties in Georgia. Suburban Atlanta.

The traffic circle is new down here. Drivers stop, look at it, scratch their head and don't know what to do.

appreciate the support! We were surprised how many people got the reference outside of Houston. Felt good to run out of the first run so quickly

The devil went down to Georgia Saturday for a bit of gravel.

The willingness to go off pavement opens up so many nice routes that would be otherwise impossible.

This was somewhat painful to make. I used to work with Premiere back when I used to skate. This was in Movie Maker, and the biggest struggle was keeping it from crashing. There is a lot left undone, but I wanted to move on. More to come.

The two guys featured are both on fixed gears. One brakeless. 276 miles in 26 hours. I hope you enjoy.

Wow that's crazy. And cool. It snows like that here too, so you'd think I'd have figured that out. But without any buildings etc for reference, it looked like a deliberate effect.
