Suntour Superbe Hubs Singlespeed Coversion how to??
Hi guys,
Sorry for the lame question that has likely been asked 100 times. I searched and couldnt find any answers. What do I need to convert this hub to a single speed?
Thanks
Austin

Is it a track hub or a geared freewheel hub?
If it's a track hub then just thread it on if a freewheel hub there is some respacing and redishing that needs to happen to get the correct chainline. If you are asking this question, I'd leave that to a shop.

Seems like conflicting advice. It is a geared freewheel hub. Guess I will keep doing some reading and see if I can get my head around it. Funny how something like this when its new seems so confusing when I am sure it is not even that complex. Looking forward to learning more about it.

You got conflicting advice because there was Superbe road stuff and Superbe track stuff and you didn't specify which you had.
If it's road wheel then yeah, you'll need to respace/redish. Wheel was built to have 6 or 7 gears between the hub body instead of just one. So you'll have to do some minor reconfiguration of wheel to set it up for SS.
