In case you couldn't figure it out we didn't really like your question that much. It didn't provide enough information and it seemed to indicate that you didn't do enough research on your own first. The most helpful answer provided was "Kilo TT" which is the mercier Kio TT from Bike's direct which you said you looked at. In general this bike seems to be a good fit for people who ask this kind of question on this forum because they are looking for a singlespeed/fixed gear bike with aggressive track geometry that is quality but inexpensive. The Kilo TT fits this description. This bike is not the best for commuting or for going on long distances and for actual track racing it is probably only acceptable for an absolute beginner. But really you should spend a bit more time lurking around and you will get a better idea about what you want.

Also, if you're talking about the Fuji Classic Track, $500 is pretty much full retail for that bike. So unless you're getting component upgrades included, it's not a price worth jumping on or making a hasty decision. (Nothing wrong with paying full retail, just don't think you're getting a deal.)
Adding a couple periods and commas didn't really clarify your question. Examples of what additional information would help:
- "ride downtown" = Where? What kind of terrain, weather? How far? How often? Will you be commuting to school or work, or riding for fun, or to go out with friends?
- What kind of experience do you have with bikes? What bikes have you ridden, and what did you like and dislike about them?
- What size are you/ what size bike do you need? (For example, I have the Fuji Classic Track partly because I'm super short and it comes in an XXS size that fits me.)
- What's your motivation for looking at those two bikes in particular? What matters most to you? Is it looks (that's ok to admit), price, quality, ???
You gotta help us out a bit if you want some assistance here. Otherwise you'll get people shouting "Kilo TT" and posting images.

I made potatoes and eggs for lunch today. 3 eggs, one potato, 2 slices American cheese, and a half a stick of butter. Oh, salt and pepper too.
