Nitto Pearl stem question...measurement

Was thinking you measure center of bolt to center of clamp.

I have a 90mm and measuring by that method, it's closer to 100mm.

Do pearls run long or am I measuring incorrectly?

90mm probably counts for the actual reach produced when you have it on a bike rather than just the length of the stem. just a guess
