Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Is this Fizik worth it?

This fizik arione is going for about 22 on ebay currently. Few minutes left. It's used, shows wear. But for a saddle that's better than my All City, I may chance it. Opinions?

I'll chance it. I like to ride distances and my bum hates my All City saddle.

I did. Hopefully my ass will love me. If not, $43 total isn't bad to test drive it.

None of the lbs here keep them in stock.

Edit: Only one sells them, but not in stock.

Also retail Ariones are like 3 times as expensive as a takeoff Arione, for not much more value (other than less weight) as far as I can tell.

That saddle was well-used. I would have passed.

Saddles get soft over time and people retire them. That one looked like it had a few thousand miles on it.

Post an ad to your local Craigslist: "Sell me your old Fizik Arione Saddle" and you'll have one soon.
