Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

No, but they look sweet and, after all, they are Campy. Mavic has a new track wheelset that looks swank, too...straight pull bladed spokes and fixed/fixed hub. Here's a link and a pic:

I think they're basically same as campy shamal's but black. so, I guess they should be fine for good sunday cruisin'.
this place carrys clincher shamal rims, you could buy them and lace to 32h c-record LF hubs. that would look super...

I don't run a Campy rim, but do have a Record track hub on one of the commuters.
It doesn't shine as nice as the Dura Ace hubs on two of the other bikes.

I don't think they are available under the Shamal name as rims alone (short of damage replacement). Rather I think they go by Atlanta. As such, the Atlanta's are available in 32 hole if the urge hits.
