Messenger bag strap/hardware source?
Have an idea for a bag and I'd like to fit it with a messenger bag style strap along with the quick adjust hardware (flip the big plastic/metal piece strap loosens/adjust/flip back to secure).
Anyone know who supplies these sort of things?

seattlefabrics.com is pretty good too.
Also, check eBay. The seller Country Brook Design has really good prices on stuff like Velcro and webbing.

my mother makes outdoor equipment, and she recommends these folks:
DJ Associates
The only issue is that they charge $25 minimum, so that's a lot of hardware.

Want to get adventurous? Head to the salvage yard and find an old auto seat belt and buckle/latch assembly; then you can have a buckle like a Chrome Messenger bag!

Go to some sort of thrift store and buy kid's backpacks or laptop bags. Then take off the straps and clips. It might be cheaper than buying them new.
