Ride your bike to work day
So. It's ride your bike to work day tomorrow. Who's doing it, how far, and what are you riding?
My commute is about 13 miles with some decent hills. I'm gonna take the Technium and this will be its longest journey so far. (sad I know but it's new to me)

Bike to work day was last week for us. I fell, and nearly re-broke my clavicle.
But I got a free muscle milk, a keychain, and two blinky lights.

I plan on it, just like every other day. 5 miles, but I often detour on the way home to push it out to 10-15.

Leaving to go out of town right after work, so I didn't. I am hoping to ride a metric century tomorrow though.

I wish that many people biked everyday in seattle, it was wonderful. It was really nice to see a lot of kids out riding with their parents, a rare sight indeed.

Got a nice mussette with a Clif Bar in it when I arrived at the office yesterday. It's nice, but I just like riding my bike and I hate paying for parking.

Riding like its 1990
Aint jack **** out here.
I ride 90% of the days.
Ended up not riding today though. I'm feeling fatigued lately. I've been running then lifting weights after work nearly every day and its catching up to me. Decided to hang with my kids a little later in the morning and drive to work.
Will hit a few reps today before leaving but tomorrow I'll be riding up some hills and watching the Tour of California ride by.

Rode my bike to work today, same as pretty much every day. 25mph steady headwind too, but for some reason I had some good power in the legs. Only had to tell them to shut up once or twice!
This mornings ride put me at 2000 miles so far this year! Most of them being commuter miles on my fixed gear too!
Had to explain the benefits of clipless pedals to one of my noncyclist coworkers and how, no, I do not fall all the time and yes I can get out quickly in an emergency. When I mentioned how I had been riding clipless since I was 14 years old, she just gave up... LOL.

5.2mi on my 60/40 road/gravel mixed commute with two long hill climbs on the way in. 41F in the morning, then 70F on the way home.
even today i was the only bike commuter. :/
on the Nashbar steel CX (stock, aside from clipless pedals now, and has been -great-)

I think Bike to Work Day should be in January. Then it would actually mean something.
