i just watched rumble through the bronx cuz it's raining and i don't have money to finish my wheelset...this was a nice epilogue.
It looks like he has short bullhorn bars turned towards him, and almost a 1:1 gear ratio!
trials 1899 style!
look at those bar spins- he does 'em like its no one's business.
The BMX guys and gals should see this.
Funny, that's exactly what I thought. Flatlanding is as old as the hills.
Um... mebbe it's a doctored video?
I doubt it.... What makes you think its doctored?Originally Posted by 57Facets

This video comes from the American Memory of the Library of Congress. I'd think that they would check the authenticity of it.....Originally Posted by 57Facets

Thats pretty cool.
does the library of congress also have the video of thomas edison electrocuting an elephant for the sake of science?
(cool bike video, by the way)
Is that guy in the 50+ forum?
that is pretty amazing (i was skeptical at first too... but it's entierly plausable after searching around the web)
I love his little backwards 'swosh' he does with the bike to get the pedals horizontal again about 3/4 into the clip
It's in the BMX forum also
I got worms.
I had to save this to disk first. A fun tandem is a little bit into the clip, I'd love a close up of it.
That was probably filmed nearby me at his lab in Orange, Nj like most of his other work.
The original Hollywood.
