Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

The soreness has improved greatly already. Thanks all. My hips are tight yet but other than that I seem good to go.
I did a bunch of stretching and I've upped my water intake. Also started eating mostly good stuff instead of garbage. I know it's only been a day or two but proper hydration combined with stretching definitely help.

You ride a 61cm frame, so you must be tall, and you didn't make a thread about high spoke-count wheels and wide tires, so you can't be very heavy. Simple deduction.
