Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Wait for the DVD...

Jeez, that show sucks too. It's all about Grissom and Willows. Maybe Munch & Tutuola too...

Both messengers involved used some kind of old comfort-hybrid mtbs, with chain protectors, the lot, and seemed to like using the granny gear while (and I quote) "flew along at 25 mph". They actually used the messenger's polar heart rate monitor to trace back his route. I usually like the show, but this one was as cheesy as they get, especially since in the messenger place they visit there are a few brakeless fixies, including 2 IRO's if I'm not mistaken.
