campy record pista crankset - anyone?
i've been saving to build my dream bike around a certain italian frame...
am about 6 mos from having enough spare cash for the frameset & always planned to use as many of my existing bits as possible to build it up quickly & then change over parts to what i really want on it as finances allow. but i just ran across a new campagnolo record pista crankset & chainring for only(?) $260, which is exactly what i want for this bike. i figure i could get it & throw it on my exisiting bike to use until i am ready to fulfill my dream.
anybody here using this crankset? i've got questions...
1) it seems like a good deal to me, is it really?
2) my current frame takes an english bottom bracket, will this crank work with any 111m iso square taper bottom bracket? i will need a new bb for this crank but don't want to invest in the matching campy bb now, since i will need a new one with italian threading when i finally get the new frame.
any useful info is appreciated...

1) $260 is a good deal...velomine has it $10 cheaper for a 49t
2) yes
note, i put these on my old bike (EAI Toyo Godzilla) with a PW 110.5 bb and the arms touched the chainstays. i was having a custom frame built and since they touched on the godzilla, i sent the builder the crankset and bb (campy pista as well) to make sure there weren't issues and they were still very close...as a result, the builder crimped the stays.
i spoke with my LBS, and they said even when paired with the correct BB, they have seen clearance issues on different frames. just so you know....

been checking further into this crankset & it looks to me like you can only use campy chainrings on it? or maybe i am misunderstanding something?
