And I'm hoping that it will make for a bigger scene here on campus, because that means more bikes/parts available to me when people realize that they don't actually know how to ride their bikes.

I enjoyed the film, but didn't have high expectations other than it would be fun & have some bike action. The flashback motif can be confusing, but they made it work. Visualizing the paths thru traffic was an interesting device to get into his head. I didn't get how the rival, a low-paid messenger could be riding a Parlee & driving an expensive truck. The bike cop was good comedic relief. The MTB scene was great stunt work. The "no brakes" mantra is a bad message for a general audience.

Theres a lot of rich-ass mother****ers on this campus who have mommy and daddy buy them everything. So theres a chance that I'll be able to score some good stuff at amazing prices.

Just the other day at my LBS while waiting for work to be finished I witnessed a middle age woman drop $1.2k on a langster & helmet & clipless set up with her husband saying "are you sure you can ride a fixed gear after being off a bike for 20 years?".
Her grin on her face was ear to ear through.

Obviously the opportunist on two wheels knows the best time is when the fad from the movie dies. Just saying but there's going to be halfwits wanting the wheels the guy in the movie was rocking and they just happen to be phils.

Just saw it. Not terrible. Not great. There were literally a dozen other people in the theater, two of whom were carrying Chrome bags and helmets. They sat right in front of my wife and I and they noticed that we laughed at the same stupid **** that only bike people would get (FW noise while riding fixed, for example). Ended up chatting about bikes for a bit. It was cool. I snuck in a few bottles of Lakeshore Brewing's Fixed Gear beer to compliment the movie, and they got a kick out of it.

I saw this last Saturday and and enjoyed it. I went into it expecting "Fast and Furious" but on bikes and that is exactly what it was. Like I said myself, my four friends, and the other 10 people in the audience seemed to like it.

I just hope it doesn't give a bad name to fixed gear riders or make people think they can do things that they can't.

Since watching the movie I have been waiting for someone to as me "hey is that a bike like the one JGL rides?!?!"

Saw it last night. It was a fun movie. It kind of reminded me of dance movies in the way that the plot is fairly simple and unoriginal ( which I wish wasn't the case), but I still enjoyed it. I was one of six people in the theater. Maybe one looked like he knew which end of a bicycle was the front.

Just saw it. Entertaining yet nothing to get pumped up about. Wasn't cheesy or poorly done. Nonetheless I sold a scrap bike on CL in 20 min, thanks Premium Rush.

I saw it last Saturday and it was exactly what I expected it to be. No more, no less. I LOLed at the phone scene in the end where all the dispatchers were summoning the messenger army.
