Today I tried to separate the stripped SG75 crank from the SG75 bottom bracket - it did not go well. But in curiosity I attached the drive side SG75 I skid on a couple days ago onto the non drive side of the BB and put the chainring on it. I gave it a spin and the wobble was gone. I guess it was that cheap RPM BB that I trashed and not the crank arm, thank goodness.

Got sorta the same problem. I currently have a *slight* wobble in my drive train line - not sure if it's the chain ring, improper torque on the chain ring bolts or if I bent the bb spindle. I suspect it's because I recently learned to skid while running a 48 tooth ring w/16 tooth cog (79 gear inches). Didn't really understand the feel/physics of it at first so I'd just lock up in the saddle or not too far in front of it. I'm not a big guy (5'9"/<155) but I've got relatively strong legs from running and riding to work regularly. Just no technique yet. Good components on the bike though (Hatta NJS bb and Suntour Supurbe Pro cranks/ring/cog). You guys think I coulda messed that stuff up from bad skidding technique or do you think maybe I just didn't notice the wobble at first or is it ?.
