Help me choose my first road bike!
Hey guys, I've been lurking the forums for the past few weeks and I'm buckling down to make my first purchase.
I'm looking for a single speed with a possibility of fixed gear in the future. I've hit up the local bike shops, but I think I'm just gonna end up going with BD.
I'm stuck between 3 bikes at the moment because of the size availability:
Windsor Clockwork
Dawes SST w/ Bullhorns
Dawes SST Steel
Sadly, the Kilo TT's a bit over my price range but I was considering the 47cm since it's still available.
What do you guys suggest? And what parts should I buy/replace as soon as possible?
And what do you guys think of standover heights? I'm a short little lady with a short inseam (5'3" & around 28"). I'm probably going for a 49cm frame.
Thanks in advance.

Out of those three, the Windsor or the older Dawes (bullhorns). The new SST looks like ****, in my opinion, and has a lot of junk in the build. Most of the BD bikes in your price range are going to be about the same quality.

But I guess if I'm down to the Windsor vs the Bullhorn Dawes, it's a matter of color selection and handlebars. They're pretty much identical in parts and the frame geometry's the same.

Yup. I found it sorta odd. They're exactly the same.
I'm still thinking of the Kilo TT Pro. It's just a matter of dedicating an additional $180 on the bike...
If anyone can recommend other bikes, that'd be cool too.
