Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

fixed gear like this? <500$

Been wanting a new fg for a while, and fkn Premium Rush inspired me to pull the trigger.

What's the best complete bike buy for <500? Most stuff at BD is out of stock.

Here's obviously my goal..I'm in FL

Why would you want a bike like that, it has no pedals. How could you even ride that thing?

SO TRUE!

I hate getting wacked in the shin by my pedals.

You won't find anything close to what you posted for $500. That bike has pretty expensive parts on it. Cranks, BB, and saddle alone will run you over $500 if bought new.

EDIT: Frame and a fork alone is $500.

http://affinitycycles.com/store/affi...-frameset.html

$1500 - $2000 build if all bought new.

Something off bikesdirect. They should be restocking this fall according to various posts. If you're looking for a complete. Otherwise, most completes will be a few hundred more.

There is always used.

And always able to build your own with used parts.

I got some pedals I can sell you. They're pretty rad, tough plastic $80 (extra $15 if you want them pre-stickered).

is the `13 windsor hour a good choice for the money? Seems to be pitted against the kilo tt on these forums.

my WTH was a nice bike, I sold it because it was too small. It looked somewhat similar to the bike you posted.
