Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

If it's cold and you are putting in miles, you want something close to your skin: tights, longjohns, whatever.

i have these jeans with a wee bit of spandex in them that makes them perfect for biking. long jonhs under those when it's cold. softshell jacket for windy coldness, too. neoprene gloves for my fingees.

Yeah....it's really sad to watch him ride with bare feet and all...

I wear a condom and a bow tie. Utilitarian, never too formal.
