Help buying new components for Fixed Gear bike.
Alright, I have a 2010 Torker U-District that I made fixed gear when I got it 2 years ago.
https://www.torkerusa.com/archives/2010-udistrict
I'm looking to get new parts for it, and having never worked on a bike before I am not really sure what to look for. I'm trying to find some bullhorn handlebars to put on and I will probably get them from here.
https://store.somafab.com/puba.html
And I see one set of the handlebars I'm looking at says 26.0 mm clamp. Some have different clamp sizes obviously. Does it matter what size I buy? Does the size have to match my headset because the torker website says my headset is 28.6mm. Should I get a new headset, or stem or something?
I just don't want to buy a part and it not fight or something.
Thanks for any help.

Size matters a lot. Whatever size is currently on your bike (should say on the bars or the stem) is the size you need to buy.

so, i looked around, i have a 28.6 mm fork and headset. and i have a threadless stem so that should match that right, so my stem should be 28.6 mm where it attaches to the headset. i'm just trying to figure out if the clamp that goes on the handlebars is the same as well

could probably rule out 26, unless those kooky guys @ Torker are speccing 26mm clamp area riser bars.

Your cog is slipping.

You have a standard 1 1/8" threadless fork/headset setup and your stem stem's clamp is most likely 25.4mm, as 26.0 risers aren't very common.
