Just got a specialized langster.

Just picked up a specialized langster steel frame single speed. It's my first single speed bike and I'm just wondering if I got a good deal. I paid $300.00 for it with brand new gatorskin tires and the bike looks almost brand new. Thoughts?

Why ask us if it's a good deal AFTER you bought it? What good will it do you?

Scenario A: We say that it was a great deal. You feel the same way you do now...because you wouldn't have bought it if you thought it was a bad deal.

Scenario B: We say that it was a bad deal. You feel bad and have buyer's remorse, but can't do anything about it because you can't return it. So every time you look at the bike you might feel foolish.

So, see? You really can't "win" here. You can only break even or lose.

Maybe don't ask questions that you don't want to know the answer to. Just be confident (and ultimately happy) with your decision. Who cares what we think?

Because if I ever want to resell it I would know what price to start at.

I don't believe you. But to humor you, why not ask that question when the time comes?

Except he is right. We get many "Did I get a good deal?" threads and the outcome is hardly ever that great

Yes you got a good deal.

Figure out if I am being honest, or just trying to make you feel good about yourself.

What do you all expect to learn from some pictures. Notwithstanding a huge dent in the top tube or a sweet aerospok are the oh-so-anticipated pictures gonna move you off whatever price you have in mind? I hope not.

Look at any of the thousands of pictures of Langsters. You will see the bike.

Oh yah, plus taterskins.

While we are waiting for his picture I can re-post mine..same steel Langster.
I paid $300. Well, I changed Alexrims Race32 to Wabi, (just because they had white hubs and grey rims)
Did I get a good deal? ..i'm kidding.

If on the picture LogicII handlebar, Romin seat, carbon fork, Gatorskin tires (already mentioned), Thompson stem and Deda seatpost it may affect some answers.
