Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Time to stop waffling and as you say, PULL THE TRIGGER.

Those two people told you to go buy the bike. One dude told you to RUN. Buy the bike, ask about the TT after. The TT which is a POS compared to that thing.

So never heard back from the guy with the jamis and found a kilo TT raw stripper on craigslist for $180 so I picked it up. So far so good, but I have to get used to riding a fixed gear now.

Thanks for everyones help.
