Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

A broken link showing off your new bike was under your tree?

Odd, all I had was this

in before lock.

There's a perfectly good thread for showing off your new shiny ride - and I'm too lazy to link it for you.

Not a bike.
A saddle.
Didn't know posting a pic (or in this case, attempting to) would raise such ire.
I'll never make that mistake again.

The link worked when I posted it.

To post your new saddle the correct link is http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...-For-Your-Bike I realize OP is not claiming to have bought it but I think it is close enough.

Thanks for the link, prooftheory.
I'll keep in mind for next time.
This time, however, I think I'll pass.

I hope your new saddle has ample padding because you're obviously a little butthurt.

LOL.
No, not butthurt...just trying to find a way to back out of this thread gracefully...and failing miserably.
Sorry about that.

BFSSFG is about getting all worked up over nothing.

Why not just turn it into a "what did you get for xmas?" thread? Not a rare find this time of year on any forum... even on forums that already have "what did you buy" threads.

Here, I'll keep it going...

This is what other people got me:

Bike Snob book number 2.
Another unrelated book.
Some cheap, generic bike lights.
A couple of shirts.
Some underwear.

And I got myself an iPad 4.

AYHSMB.
