Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

The worst part about my Fiero: No space to put a bike. It barely fits in the passenger seat.

I think the Fiero is generally considered the poor man's Ferrari. Overall, not a great car. It's an awesome project car though.

Specialized Carbon Fork
H+Son Rims/Surly Hubs
Sugino Messenger Cranks

(Came without retention, have since put Origin 8 Strapzz on)
Purchased used last month from a great guy in Washington State to replace my 1980's Raleigh Technium (USA) fixed conversion, which will now be my bar/grocery bike.

Didn't you learn anything from ripping yourself open during a crash because your bars weren't taped & plugged?

Mid 80s Maruishi conversion. Stem is a 120 when I think a 100-110 would work better for me (and looks a little funny) but it'll work until I find a replacement.

This was a snap right after I had installed everything on the bike. Didn't buy any tape yet but would do it maybe tomorrow
(and the bike is not mine !)
